Install on a solid, level floor or in a fireplace opening that meets the clearances in the included manual. For the flame projection, place about 1-3/8 in. (35 mm) from a solid rear wall. Do not place on carpet, rugs, bedding or soft surfaces. Keep furniture, papers, curtains and other combustibles at least 3 ft from the log set. Keep all vents clear. Plug directly into a suitable grounded wall outlet; do not use an extension cord or power strip. Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning with a soft dry cloth. Indoor use only.
